Steady Flow, Sacred Ground – Making Space for What Sustains You
Dear Family,
Last week, we paused to reflect on how we pour not from panic, but from peace. But now that we’re learning to move with more stillness, there’s a deeper layer we must explore: What are we making space for in our lives… and what are we letting go?
Peace isn’t just about slowing down. It’s about making sacred room for what actually sustains you.
What Fills You, Forms You
In Luke 5:16, we read:
“But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”
Jesus the miracle worker, the teacher, the Savior stepped away, not because He was weak, but because He was wise. He protected His inner space. He created margin in His life to stay rooted, focused, and spiritually full.
If Jesus made space… why do, we feel guilty for needing it?
Protecting Your Sacred Ground
There’s a difference between being available and being accessible to everything.
You can’t keep saying yes to chaos and expect peace to thrive.
This week, challenge yourself to:
Declutter your calendar. Make room for moments that don’t demand productivity but invite presence.
Guard your attention. Everything that asks for your energy doesn’t deserve it.
Return to the Source. Sometimes it’s not more action you need—it’s more alignment.
Reflection Prompts:
What is currently crowding your sacred space—mentally, emotionally, spiritually?
Where do you feel most spiritually grounded and least distracted?
How can you build pauses into your daily rhythm that feed your soul?
Scripture:
“Be still and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Stillness isn’t the absence of movement—it’s the fullness of awareness.
This Week’s Brew Break Challenge:
Every day this week, set aside 10 minutes just for stillness.
☑️ No phone
☑️ No pressure
☑️ Just presence
Use that time to breathe, pray, journal, or simply listen.
Ask God: What are You asking me to release… and what are You inviting me to receive?
Closing Thought:
Sacred space isn’t about isolation it’s about preservation.
Preserve your peace. Prioritize what fills you. Protect what’s growing inside of you.
Let peace lead.
Let your soul breathe.
Let what sustains you rise to the surface.
With stillness and strength,
