⛰️ Are You Rooted or Just Resisting?

Resisting the storm takes strength but being rooted in Christ gives us endurance beyond our own limits.

📖 “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
— Matthew 7:24

Storms will come. Winds will blow. But when you're anchored in God’s Word, you may bend, but you won’t break.

🌿 Let Roots Go Deep

When things get shaky, your roots are what keep you from falling.
Paul encourages us in Colossians 2:6–7:

📖 “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

How do we grow spiritual roots?

• By meditating on the Word, not the world.

• By praying even when we don’t have the words.

• By trusting God's character even when we don’t see His hand.

1. Are you rooted in the promises of God, or the pressure of your circumstances?

2. What do you turn to for stability when life feels uncertain?

3. How can you feed your roots this week?

🛠️ Practical Ways to Stay Rooted:

• Read Matthew 7:24–27 and reflect on where you’ve built your foundation.

• Start your day by declaring: “Today I stand on the Rock that cannot be moved.”

• Write down three Scriptures that anchor you—and post them where you’ll see them often.

✨ A Word of Encouragement:

Family you weren’t just meant to survive the storm.
You were meant to outlast it because you’re rooted in something greater than yourself.
You are planted, not tossed. Secured, not scattered. And no storm has the authority to uproot what God has established in you.

Keep standing. Keep growing. Keep trusting.
