Back to Eden: Part 2 Peace The Soil of Restoration
Top performance-driven ad channel in 2026

"Did this campaign drive that sale, or would it have happened anyway?"
Every marketer asks it. Attribution can't answer it. Incrementality can.
CTV now brings that reporting rigor to television:
✅ Smarter targeting
✅ Proof of incremental lift
✅ Ongoing optimization
Worth a look if you're spending on TV and need to prove it's worth it.
Dear Family,
Before we step forward, I want to take a moment to be honest.
Last week, I didn’t release the newsletter.
And while part of me wanted to just move ahead like nothing happened…
that didn’t feel aligned with the kind of space we’ve been building here.
So I paused.
Not just from writing
but internally.
Because if I’m being real with you, I realized I was still carrying things I hadn’t fully released.
Not in a dramatic way.
Not in a way that stopped life completely.
But quietly.
And sometimes it’s the quiet weight that affects us the most.
When You’re Doing Well… But Not Fully Free
Have you ever found yourself moving forward…
doing what needs to be done,
showing up,
handling life…
but still feeling like something is sitting beneath the surface?
That’s what I had to sit with.
Because sometimes we think we’ve moved on…
when really, we’ve just learned how to function while still holding on.
Holding onto old emotions.
Old disappointments.
Old versions of ourselves.
And over time, that creates a kind of internal noise.
Not loud enough to stop you.
But strong enough to keep you from feeling fully at peace.
Why Peace Has to Be the Foundation
This is exactly why we’re here in this part of the series.
Because nothing truly grows in a place that is internally unsettled.
Not clarity.
Not healing.
Not restoration.
Peace is not just something we experience occasionally.
It is the ground everything else grows from.
And if that ground is crowded…
if it’s still holding onto things that no longer belong there…
it becomes difficult for anything new to take root.
🌿 A Pause for Clarity — Words Matter
(Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)
Sometimes understanding what we’re being invited into brings everything into focus.
Peace
“A state of quiet; freedom from disturbance or agitation; tranquility.”
Peace is not something we force.
It’s something we return to.
Soil
“The ground in which plants grow.”
Whatever is planted will only grow as well as the condition of the soil allows.
Restore
“To bring back to a former state; to renew.”
Restoration is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about returning to what was always intended.
Release
“To let go; to set free.”
Releasing is not losing.
It is making room.
Letting Go Is Part of Restoration
If peace is the soil…
then letting go is part of preparing the ground.
This is the part we don’t always talk about.
We want growth.
We want clarity.
We want new beginnings.
But we don’t always realize that those things require space.
And space comes from release.
Letting go of what no longer aligns.
Letting go of what you’ve outgrown.
Letting go of the weight that was never meant to follow you into this next season.
Not all at once.
But intentionally.
Why Peace Can Feel Unfamiliar
There’s another layer to this.
When you’ve lived in stress for a long time…
peace can feel unfamiliar.
Slowing down can feel uncomfortable.
Stillness can feel unnatural.
Not because it’s wrong.
But because your nervous system has learned how to function in tension.
Now it’s learning how to rest.
And that takes time.
What Peace Looks Like in Real Life
Peace is not dramatic.
It doesn’t always announce itself.
It shows up quietly:
In choosing not to react immediately.
In allowing yourself to pause before responding.
In walking away from what pulls you out of alignment.
In trusting GOD without trying to control every outcome.
It’s steady.
Not loud.
A Gentle Reflection
Take a moment this week and sit with this honestly:
Where in my life do I feel internal clutter?
What am I still holding onto that I’ve outgrown?
Am I trying to grow… without making space?
Prepare the Ground
When something feels heavy this week…
Pause.
Instead of pushing through it immediately, ask:
Is this something I need to carry…
or something I need to release?
And if it’s something to release…
Start there.
Little by little.
In Closing — This Is Where Growth Begins
Last week, I didn’t show up the way I normally would.
But in that pause…
I was reminded of something important.
Before anything new can grow…
the ground has to be ready.
Peace is not just something we talk about.
It’s something we make room for.
And that’s what this season is about.
Not rushing.
Not forcing.
Just returning.
One truth.
One cup of coffee.
One step back toward Eden.
With love,
Christalyn 🤍
